In a galaxy far, far away... they need sewer systems, too. Corporation Incorporated builds them. Everyone knows their drivers -- the brave men and women who fear no danger and would, if the pay was good enough, even fly through Hell. Now you can join them. You will gain access to prefabricated spaceship components cleverly made from sewer pipes. Can you build a space ship durable enough to weather storms of meteors? Armed enough to defend against pirates? Big enough to carry a large crew and valuable cargo? Fast enough to get there first?Of course you can. Become a Galaxy Trucker. It's loads of fun.Galaxy Trucker is a tile laying game that plays out over two phases: building and flying. The goal is to have the most credits at the end of the game. You can earn credits by delivering goods, defeating pirates, building an efficient ship, and being the furthest along the track at the end of the flying phase.
Galaxy Trucker is such a strange, but hilarious board game.Divided into two phases, the game lets you take the wheel of an interstellar truck to travel from one corner of the universe to another by collecting cargo and money. In the first phase of the game, you will build your ship at the same time as your opponents. This will be a crazy race to find the best pieces according to your needs since everyone rushes at the same time to grab the tiles laid on the table. After this intense and timed phase, you will collectively have to face a dozen events in space: planets with resources, asteroid fields, pirates, war zone or, if you are lucky enough, open space. Each event will delay you and, more dramatically, make you lose parts of your ship.Galaxy Trucker is a game where you build a beautiful ship that you're very proud of just to see it destroyed by a bunch of vicious pirates. It is very common to finish a round of the game with 3 pieces in your ship: an engine, a crew cabin and a cannon pointing to the right (that has been completely useless throughout the journey). For 2 to 4 players and designed by Vlaada Chvátil (Codenames, Mage Knight,...), it is a light, funny game where even the younger ones can beat the adults.
